Large fire burns second residential construction site in three days in Denver suburb

Firefighters in the Denver metro area responded to two large fires, one at an apartment building and another at residential buildings under construction in Aurora. The cause of the fires is under investigation and officials have not suggested a connection between them. Saturday's five-alarm fire occurred at a large apartment building that was still under construction. Firefighters battled the flames from outside the structure due to dangerous conditions. A firefighter suffered minor injuries, but no other buildings were damaged.
