Homicide victim found dead in 1979 near Las Vegas Strip identified as missing 19-year-old from Cincinnati
Wednesday, 20 December 2023 The body discovered in 1979 near the Las Vegas Strip has been identified as Gwenn Marie Story, a teenager from Ohio who had left home in search of her biological father. The victim, known as Sahara Sue Doe, was found near the Strat Hotel. She was last seen with two male friends from Cincinnati. Advancements in genetic testing led to the identification, and the case is now focused on the two friends.
