Albanian parliament revokes former prime minister Sali Berisha's legal immunity, paving way for possible arrest in corruption investigation tied to privatisation. Berisha's son-in-law Jamarber Malltezi, charged with corruption and money laundering, is suspected of acquiring a sports complex in Tirana for building apartments. Berisha, opposition leader, denies wrongdoing and calls investigation "purely political". He was banned from US and UK over alleged involvement in organised crime and corruption. Albania ranks among the most corrupt countries in Europe.
