UN chief says parties to Gaza war 'trampling' on international law

Addressing the World Economic Forum in Davos, Guterres emphasised the need for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire. He criticised the warring factions for their failure to uphold the Geneva Conventions and the United Nations Charter. Guterres highlighted the devastating impact of the conflict on civilians who are being killed, injured, displaced, and denied vital humanitarian assistance.
