In a bid to tackle housing crisis, Canada caps International student intake to 3.6 lakh for 2024

Starting Sept 1, 2024, international students in curriculum licensing arrangements will no longer be eligible for post graduation work permits; this is to prevent misuse of such programs and sham degrees that allow people to come into the country and work in low-skilled jobs.
