US lawmakers want pressure on Hungary to back Sweden's Nato membership
Thursday, 1 February 2024 Senior US lawmakers urged Hungary to promptly endorse Sweden's accession to NATO, cautioning on Thursday that Budapest could face lasting harm to its relationship with Washington if it fails to do so, just a week after Turkey's approval.
