Climate activist Greta Thunberg detained twice at demonstration in the Netherlands
Sunday, 7 April 2024 Climate activist Greta Thunberg encountered two police detentions while engaging in a demonstration in The Hague, Netherlands, for several hours on Saturday. Police revealed that more than 400 individuals were detained, with 12 arrested for incitement, including Thunberg. She was briefly held by local authorities, along with other protesters, for attempting to block a major highway.
