San Diego zoo’s male flamingo couple becomes first-time dads

Two male lesser flamingos at San Diego Zoo Safari Park have become first-time dads after hatching an egg together. The pair, both in their 40s, excel at brooding and feeding their chick with crop milk. Same-sex co-parenting is increasingly observed in birds like penguins and vultures in zoos worldwide.
