Nobel prize in Chemistry awarded to David Baker, Demis Hassabis and John M. Jumper

David Baker wins half of the 2024 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for computational protein design, while Demis Hassabis and John M. Jumper share the other half for protein structure prediction. The Nobel Prize announcements kicked off with Victor Ambros and Gary Ruvkun winning the medicine prize. Last year, the chemistry prize was awarded to a trio of scientists.
