'Conclave' wins best picture at BAFTAs as 'The Brutalist' takes directing and acting prizes
Sunday, 16 February 2025 At the 78th British Academy Film Awards, 'Conclave' won best picture and three other awards, while 'The Brutalist' also secured four trophies. Zoe Saldaña won best supporting actress for 'Emilia Pérez,' which also received the best film not in the English language award. Mikey Madison took home the best actress prize for 'Anora.'
"Conclave" dominated the 78th BAFTAs with four wins, including Best Picture, while "The Brutalist" matched its tally, earning Best Director for Brady Corbet and Best Actor for Adrien Brody.
