Multiple people hurt in stabbings at homeless shelter, suspect in custody

A stabbing incident at Salem's Union Gospel Mission on Sunday evening led to multiple injuries and one arrest. The attacker, a newcomer to the shelter, reportedly got into a fight just before checking in for a second night. The altercation, involving a knife, resulted in at least one staff member and several others being hospitalized; police are investigating the incident.
