Kuwait witnessed a 2.39% surge in its consumer price index in July 2025, according to the Central Statistical Bureau. Escalating costs in food, healthcare, clothing, and education are primarily responsible, intensifying financial strain on households. While transportation costs decreased, food and beverages saw the highest increase at 5.63%. Excluding food, inflation still rose by 1.61%, indicating broad price pressures.
