Pakistan Says Open To Peace Talks While Conducting Ballistic Missile Test

According to a report by Reuters, Pakistan signaled a willingness to open peace talks with India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi after an election won in the shadow of renewed confrontation between the nuclear-armed opponents.

At the same time, Pakistan announced that it had conducted a training launch of a Shaheen-II ballistic missile, which it claims is capable of delivering conventional and nuclear weapons at a range up to 1,500 miles.
