Search ends for two firefighters missing in Florida

U.S. Coast Guard Captain Mark Vlaun says they've made the difficult decision to end the search for two missing firefighters at sundown Thursday.

Brian McCluney served with the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.

Justin Walker worked with the Fairfax County, Virginia Fire department.

The two men were last seen Friday, setting off to fish from a boat ramp at Port Canaveral, Florida.

Monday, three days after the men were reported missing, McCluney's tackle bag was found about 50 miles off the coast of St.

Augustine.

The search involved three planes and three ships, as well as volunteers.

Jacksonville Fire Chief Keith Powers confirmed, they are also ending their role in the search.
