Lonia Häger was traveling to Lofoten after visiting the North Cape, the most northern point of Europe.

While she and her friend, Phil, traveled down the mountainside, "it started raining... the street iced up that we even couldn’t stay on one point!".

Feeling "helpless against Mother Nature," the pair realized that they were stuck, Häger posted on Instagram .

“Phil had the weird but actually genius idea to create a tinder account with me and this fluffy cutie,” Häger wrote in a follow up post.

The two created a Tinder account for Häger and within five minutes she matched with Stian Lauluten, who lived nearby and had a bulldozer.

Five minutes after they connected, Lauluten was on his way to rescue them.

Lauluten "shaped lines in the ice" for the campers to travel through and then took them to a nearby parking lot.

Lauluten responded to the Instagram saying: "I'm glad I could help you guys!

Have a nice trip, And stay safe on the iceroads of Norway!"
