New COVID-19 Stats Indicates Most States Are Opening Up Far Too Early

The number of new coronavirus COVID-19 cases isn't declining anywhere in the US except Alaska.

According to Business Insider, that hasn't stopped 32 states from easing lockdown restrictions.

Most guidelines suggest keeping social-distancing restrictions in place until there's a downward trend in new infection rates.

For instance, Indiana reported its second-highest number of new cases — 837 — the day that its stay-at-home order lifted.

When New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut are separated out, new positive cases are still growing on the whole throughout the country.
