White House Mulls More Aid To Americans Struggling With Hunger, Joblessness

The Trump administration is talking with Republicans and Democrats in Congress about what to include in another round of coronavirus relief legislation.

According to Reuters, further US jobs losses are predicted in the coming months.

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said and others are discussing aid to states whose economies have been ravaged by the pandemic.

White House economic adviser Kevin Hassett said future legislation could include food aid and broadband access for those who lack it.

Democrats are moving to unveil new legislation as early as this week.

However, the White House signaled it is in no hurry to pass another relief bill.
