The Skier 95 plane took off from Stratton Air Force Base in Schenectady for a flyover to salute essential workers.

It today, the air national guard put on quite the show.

The 109th airwing out of schnectdady flew over griffiss airport and st.

News channel 2's brent kearney traveled to the stratton air national guard base to watch as the flight crew embarked on their mission.

"you've seen them on tv and all over the internet flyover is taking place all across the country honoring our essential workers that are fighting over 19 on the front lines well today the people here at stratton airbase decided it was their turn to do the same and well they put on quite the show."

Its called operation american resolve.

This lc130 will be doing a series of flyovers all across the central new york honoring our essential workers.
