Liquor shops reopen in Ranchi as lockdown 4.0 brings more relaxations

Amid fourth phase of nationwide lockdown, liquor shops reopened in Ranchi on May 20.

People were seen following social distancing norms. The state has levied 75% Value Added Tax on liquor including Indian-Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL).

Nationwide lockdown has been extended till May 31 with more relaxations.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Jharkhand reached 223, which includes 3 deaths so far.
