Portals of Tungnath shrine considered to be highest Shiva temple in world, opened for pilgrims on May 20.

Tungnath dham is known as lord Kedar's 3rd abode.

It is situated at a staggering altitude of 12,000 feet above sea level in Rudraprayag.

Pilgrims brought deity's palanquin from Chopta to Tungnath.
