The Indiana special Olympics won't hold its usual games in Terre Haute next month.

But now, they're working on an alternative.

Instead of one weekend in person, they're doing five weeks of virtual fitness challenges - with opening ceremonies still on june 12th.

The challenges will be things athletes can do at home, or in parks, while socially distanced.

Each one will earn athletes points or prizes.

Details of the challenges will be announced soon.

The group says it was important to them, and the athletes, to set an example of resilience and
