A robot capable of disinfecting large areas in a matter of minutes has been invented by a Cumbrian firm in the fight against coronavirus.

Forth Engineering has developed the technology that could be used to sterilise hospitals, ambulances and supermarkets in a bid to slow the spread of the highly contagious virus.
