Domestic flight operations resume in West Bengal

Domestic flight operations resumed in West Bengal on May 28.

New guidelines have been issued by CM Mamata Banerjee-led government for passengers.

Passengers arrived at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata, while maintaining social distancing, as they are screened before entering the terminal.

Services of domestic flights had resumed across India on May 25, except Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal.

"Fast-track courts established across country for fast-tracking cases of sexual offences against children, wherein Centre provides 50% funds and remaining states do. 121 fast-track courts sanctioned for Bengal, there has been no response from CM Mamata," he added.
