Heat intensity likely to decrease, central India may receive rainfall: IMD

As different parts of country continue to witness heatwave, IMD senior scientist, Naresh Kumar informed that heat intensity is likely to decrease from today due to western disturbances.

"Heat intensity likely to decrease from today as a western disturbance is likely to bring light rainfall over western Himalayan region.

Moreover, winds coming from Bay of Bengal will also result in spells of rainfall in north-west and central India," said Naresh Kumar, Senior Scientist, IMD.
