BlizzCon 2020 Is Officially Canceled

BlizzCon 2020 Is Officially Canceled Blizzard Entertainment has confirmed that their major gaming showcase which usually takes place towards the end of the year, has been pushed back to 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The event's executive producer, Saralyn Smith, admitted it was a "very difficult decision to not have BlizzCon this year." Smith said that in April they were optimistic about moving forward with the event, but "a lot has changed ... and a lot also hasn't changed." Although there will be no BlizzCon this year, Blizzard Entertainment is working on an online experience for gamers.
