Man drowns after kayaking accident on Blue River in Overland Park

The Overland Park Fire Department responded to the scene of a boating accident Friday evening, which left one man dead.

The accident happened on the Blue River near West 151st Street and Kenneth Road.

The man's body was found down river in Kansas City, Missouri.
