Snapchat End Free Promotion Of Trump's Account On Discover Section
Snap Inc said it’s no longer promoting President Donald Trump’s account in Snapchat’s Discover section.
The company said Trump’s recent comments made the account ineligible for the curated section.
Snapchat said: “We will not amplify voices who incite racial violence and injustice by giving them free promotion on Discover." According to Reuters, shares fell 2.4% after the announcement.
Snapchat said while Trump’s account won’t be promoted, it will still be available to the public.
