A 7-foot-long crocodile was rescued in Muvada village of Baghola Tehsil in Gujarat's Vadodara on June 13.

The reptile had ventured into the fields two days ago.

The rescued crocodile was later handed over to the forest department.

A wildlife rescuer Hemant Wadhwana told ANI that they had set up a cage in the village to capture the reptile after they were made aware about local women living in fear due to the presence of the crocodile.
