Police investigating hit-and-run accident

Utica Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run accident that happened early Tuesday morning involving a car and a dirt bike.

It was a hit and run accident...and they are continuing to look for the driver who fled the scene.

It happened near the intersection of rutger street and belmont avenue around 2:00 this morning.

Police say the driver of a vehicle hit a dirt bike.

Both the driver and passenger on that dirt bike were taken to a local hospital.

No word on their conditions.
