Man arrested after high-speed chase through four counties

A Rockcastle County man was arrested after a high-speed chase through four counties that sometimes reached speeds in excess of 100 mph, according to the Laurel County Sheriff's Office.

His passenger was also arrested after she was let out of the car during the chase.

A police hubbard was taking a title community health center emergent ... two people are in jail and laurel county after 84 county 90 minute chase that ended up with a damage deputy's cruiser and a damaged car deputies received a report of people possibly under the influence around 330 this morning causing trouble to business off of kentucky 909 deputy say when they got there 30-year-old nicholas denny from rockcastle county took off driving on i 75 slowing down in the northbound lane only to let his passenger 27-year-old morgan dixon berea out of the car but then he kept going deputy say i went into rockcastle madison ... and jackson counties sometimes in excess of 100 mph swerving between lanes finally ended up back in laurel county in kentucky for 90 ... the deputy say he was able to force the carter quickly turned sideways making denny lose control ... and ultimately stop but it wasn't over the deputy say denny got out and try to run but was apprehended shortly thereafter to dixon trying to inject heroin along with denny at the very big ... giving of the chase ... deputy say they found denny under the influence he they sai he had a ... -with suspected method needles also marijuana ... deputies also say he was wanted in rockcastle county on an outstanding warrant of theft case he faces a string of charges
