VP Naidu inaugurates celebrations of IIT Delhi Diamond Jubilee year via video-conferencing

Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) Delhi began celebrations of its Diamond Jubilee year.

Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu inaugurated the celebrations through video-conferencing on August 17.

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal also joined the celebrations.

At the ceremony, Venkaiah Naidu said, "IIT Delhi has made a reputed mark in last 6 decades and today is counted as one of the reputed institutes in the world.

IIT Delhi graduates are present across the world and have also made an impact." IIT Delhi will be celebrating its Diamond Jubilee year commencing from Aug 16, 2020 to Aug 15, 2021.
