Chinese workers replace a glass panel on a lofty mountain path at the national park which helped to inspire the hit film ‘Avatar’.Workers at Tianmen Mountain National Park in the city of Zhangjiajie in the central Chinese province of Hunan have begun replacing all 43 toughened glass panes on the beauty spot’s western walkway ahead of the upcoming Golden Week national holidays in October.The thick transparent glass is said to last 10 years, but the panels are regularly replaced in order to offer tourists the best and safest viewing experience, according to Changsha-based Voice of China.
