A local business has grown during the pandemic

Okolona business owner said he's had a lot of customer support during the coronavirus pandemic.

Took a hit because of the pandemic.

But thats not the case for on local store.

Wtva's alexis jones is live in okolona with how the business has grown.

I'm here at mcgregory consolidated sales where i spoke with the owner.

He said he actually expanded his business during this pandemic.

"i expanded into this location.

Then i just kept growing more."

Owner, steve mcgregory, started out at a small store on main street.

He said business was so good that he was able to open up another store a few doors down.

Sot: "every week was steady so it's been a blessing to me.

Seems like everything is falling into place."

Trt: steve mcgregory- owner trt: 8 mcgregory buys discounted items like furniture and clothes.

Then he re-sells them.

He said he shut down for a couple weeks in march.

Since he reopened, mcgregory said he's had a lot of support from customers.

Sot: "they come in good distance.

You know, up to 40 miles maybe 50 because the prices is worth the drive."

Mcgregory said customers had to make appointments to make appointments first before coming to the store.

Since his business has grown, he is allowing them to come 4 days a week.
