16 injured in gas cylinder explosion in Mumbai’s residential building

16 people were injured after a gas cylinder exploded in a residential building in Mumbai.

The incident took place in Lalbaug area on December 6 morning.

The blast in the Sarabhai building was reported at around 7:23 am.

Two fire brigade and two jumbo tankers were rushed to the spot.

After the blast, residents of the building were shifted to a hotel.

Among the injured, 12 were rushed to King Edward Memorial hospital and four to Global hospital.

Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar visited KEM hospital to meet the injured.
