New mosque in Ayodhya: Design revealed; bigger than Babri, and spherical

Design of a new mosque planned in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya was revealed on December 20.

The UP Sunni Central Waqf Board unveiled the blueprint, work on which will begin once the Faizabad Panchayat District Board gives its approval.

Apart from a mosque, the site will have a 300-bed specialty hospital and a museum.

The 5-acre land was allotted by the state government following the Supreme Court's judgment in the Babri Masjid-Ram Janmabhoomi dispute.
