Uttar Pradesh government's proposal for an international airport in Ayodhya has been approved by the Centre, informed Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on February 26. "UP government's proposal for an international airport in Ayodhya has been approved by the Centre. About Rs 1,000 crore have been allocated to the district administration. The central government has disbursed Rs 250 crore," said CM Yogi.
80-year-old Sevi Mohammed Sharif received a letter from Government of India in which he was told that he will be honoured with Padma Shri. It has been a year since he received a letter but so far he has not received the award. Sevi Mohammed Sharif resides in Ayodhya and is bed ridden due to several health issues. Sharif's grandchildren look after him. Family is in hope that after he is honoured with the award, there might be some assistance provided by government for his medical treatment. Sevi Mohammed Sharif made it to coveted list for his social work.
In a clear reference to the Babri Masjid demolition, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar on January 24 said that a historical mistake was corrected on 06 December 1992. "When foreign invaders like Babur came to India, why did they choose Ram temple for demolition? Because they knew that the soul of the country resides in Ram temple... On Dec 6, 1992, a historical mistake ended," said Javadekar while addressing donors of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir Nidhi Samarpan Abhiyan.

The district administration of Uttar Pradesh's Moradabad city has arranged a special facility for women on the occasion of International Women's Day. They commenced women special 'COVID-19 vaccination center' on March 08. The vaccination center at District Mahila Chikitsalaya is fully owned by female staff including doctors, nurses, compounders, security personnel and housekeeping staff.
Thousands of women farmers held protest marches and delivered speeches at the Singhu, Tikri and Ghazipur protest sites at Delhi's borders on International Women's Day. Noting that women contribute significantly to the country's farming sector, the organisers have laid out elaborate plans to let women farmers manage the stage, arrange food and security and share tales of their struggles on the occasion. Thousands of farmers, mostly from Punjab, Haryana and western Uttar Pradesh, have been camping at the Delhi border points for over 100 days, demanding the repeal of farm laws and a legal guarantee on the minimum support price for their crops. After former chief minister Siddaramaiah refused for donation of Ram Temple, Karnataka Minister KS Eshwarappa said 'one Siddaramaiah is enough to destroy Congress party.' "One Siddaramaiah is enough to destroy Congress party. Similarly, HD Kumaraswamy is destroying his party. Even the poor are giving Rs 10 each (for Ram temple) out of devotion. Siddaramaiah says that it's disputed land, so he won't contribute," said Karnataka Minister KS Eshwarappa. He added, "PFI tells people to not contribute (for Ram Temple) as it's disputed land, Siddaramaiah says the same. They have the same opinion. There is no difference between Siddaramaiah and PFI, they are one."
UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath offered prayers at Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya on Feb 07. He held a meeting with the officials here. The Chief Minister reviewed the construction progress of the temple.
Senior Congress leader Kantilal Bhuria launched a scathing attack on BJP leaders over fund collection for Ram temple construction. Bhuria alleged that BJP leaders consume alcohol with the donation money collected for Ram Temple. “BJP leaders collected crores of rupees in the name of Ram Temple construction. They collect donations in the day and drink alcohol using the money at night,” he said. BJP's Kalsingh Bhabar has sought an apology from the Congress MLA from MP’s Jhabua. Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust is overseeing the temple construction. It authorised RSS, VHP and others to collect voluntary donations from people across the nation.
