Report: US Cancer Deaths Dropped By Roughly A Third In The Last Two Decades

A new analysis by the American Cancer Society reveals death from cancer in the United States fell 31% between 1991 and 2018.

Nevertheless, the organization also estimates that this year, nearly 1.9 million people will be diagnosed with cancer and more than 600,000 will die from it.

According to UPI, cancer remains the second-leading cause of death in the United States.

Significant gains have been made in four of the deadliest and most common cancer, namely lung, breast, colorectal, and prostate.
