Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel accused BJP of maligning any sort of protests.
Baghel said that BJP called them Pakistani, Khalistani and even alleged them of being middleman's broker, but they won't be successful in their attempts in suppressing farmers.
CM Bhupesh Baghel said, "Whenever there's a protest, BJP tries to malign it.
As for protesting farmers, sometimes they (BJP) called them Pakistani or Khalistani.
They even alleged that farmers are middleman's broker.
NIA's notice has also been sent to the houses of the protesting farmers.
Regardless of their attempts to suppress, farmers won't be scared."
Actor Mithun Chakraborty after joining BJP said that he will join the campaign for party from March 12th ahead of assembly elections in West Bengal. He said, "I am a pure cobra. You will be finished in one bite. Now, remember the new slogan - Ek chhobole chhobi (One bite and you will become a photo)." West Bengal Assembly elections will be held in 8 phases starting from March 27.
After joining BJP, verbal attacks have started on Mithun Chakraborty. TMC MP Saugata Roy said that the Bollywood star was originally a Naxalite and he has changed parties four times. "Mithun Chakraborty is not a star of today. He is a star of yesteryears. He has changed parties four times. He was originally a Naxalite, then went to CPM, then he joined TMC and was made a Rajya Sabha MP," he said. Roy alleged that BJP threatened Chakraborty with cases by ED and he left Rajya Sabha and now he has joined BJP. He has no credibility, no respect, and no influence among the people.
Actor Mithun Chakraborty after joining BJP said that he will join the campaign of the party which is about to begin from March 12th. "The campaign will begin on 12th March. I will join. If you have watched Fatakeshto (film series), you would know," he said. Chakraborty added that, he wants to make a glorious West Bengal like Prime Minister Narendra Modi said. Mithun Chakraborty joined BJP ahead of assembly elections in West Bengal. The state will go to polls on March 27th.
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on February 28 alleged that the corruption in Assam is flourishing under the protection of Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal. Ahead of the festival of colours (Holi), women of a self-help group in Chhattisgarh's Balrampur have made powders of various colours using different parts of plants. These women are being trained at the Agriculture Science Centre of Balrampur. The group is making herbal colours with the help of beetroots, spinach among others.

They said that they are being targetted by Khalistan supporters due to ongoing farmers' protest in India. A protester said, "We're not against farmers' movement but this movement has actually turned into a Khalistani movement which is now targeting Hindu visible minorities. We really expect our leaders to protect everyone without any discrimination."
Indian nationals in Canada received threat calls from pro-Khalistani groups for their 'tiranga rally' in support of farm laws. Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Anurag Srivastava said that the issue has been taken up with Canadian authorities both in Ottawa and Delhi. MEA spokesperson advised Indian nationals to report any such incidents to local police and Indian High Commission and consultants in Canada. "We have come across reports of threats and intimidation to some members of the Indian community in Canada. We have requested Canadian authorities to take steps to ensure the safety of Indian nationals in Canada," Anurag Srivastava added.
In a horrific incident, A five-member Hindu family in Pakistan was found dead with their throats slit under mysterious circumstances on Friday. Police have recovered some of the weapons used in the killings, including a knife and an axe. Police officials have begun investigation in the killings and are likely to submit report soon. The incident has once again raised questions on the constant attack on the hindu minorities in Pakistan.
