The tragic story of Landy Parraga Goyburo (LAN-dee pah-RAH-gah goy-BOO-roh), a vibrant young woman known for her beauty and influence, has shocked and saddened many. As an Ecuadorian beauty queen and social media influencer, she had captured the hearts of many with her charisma and grace. However, her life was cut short in a senseless act of violence. On April 28th, while enjoying a meal at a restaurant in Quevedo city, Landy was brutally attacked and killed. The perpetrators, still unidentified, targeted her after she unknowingly revealed her location through an Instagram post showcasing her lunch, a tantalising octopus ceviche. It's a chilling reminder of the dangers that can lurk behind seemingly harmless social media activity.
