New Tokyo 2020 gender equality committee to be set up following resignation of Yoshiro Mori

Tokyo 2020 CEO Toshiro Muto has announced the introduction of a new gender equality team.It comes after the head of the Tokyo Olympics organising committee resigned over making sexist comments.

Mr Muto insisted his resignation and new appointment would cause no delay to the Games.
