How to control soaring petrol & diesel prices? Nirmala Sitharaman answers

Fuel prices in the country witnessed a rise for the 12th consecutive day.

Speaking at an event, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the Centre and the states need to discuss and figure out a way to curb rising fuel prices.

She added that people breathed a sigh of relief when no additional tax was imposed on people in the Union Budget 2021.
