Prime Minister Boris Johnson sets out steps two, three and four of the government’s four-step route out of national lockdown.

Step one will see the return of children to the classroom from 8 March, and a loosening of restrictions on outdoor gatherings and care home visits.

Steps two to four cover non-essential retail, indoor and outdoor hospitality and entertainment facilities, and social gatherings.
