Two cleaners were killed after a suspended platform they were on crashed into a skyscraper after extreme winds hit southern China.

The video filmed in Wuhan on May 10, shows the platform swinging violently back and forth into the building as the wind took hold.

The rescue team called to the scene fixed the hanging basket and then took the two workers to hospital.

However, the two cleaners were pronounced dead.

The accident is under further investigation and the project leader has been arrested.

It’s reported that some parts of Wuhan were hit by winds up to 60 mph strong.
