Transport Secretary says roadmap is 'very much on track'
Transport Secretary Grant Shapps has said that England's roadmap out of lockdown is "very much on track".
However, the cabinet minister did go on to say that whilst "things are under control" at the moment, he cannot predict what the situation will be in more than a month's time.

An ex-prisoner has been sentenced to an indefinite hospital order for killing an elderly mobility scooter rider. Lee Byer, 45, was psychotic when he stabbed 87-year-old Thomas O’Halloran in Greenford, west London, in August 2022. Mr O’Halloran, originally from County Clare, was well-known in the Greenford community. Byer, who had had a string of convictions, was released from Wormwood Scrubs five days before the killing.
