London aquarium creates ocean plastic exhibit to mark World Oceans Day
Emily Hope, senior aquarist at SEA LIFE London Aquarium, discusses their new ocean plastic exhibit ahead of World Oceans Day on June 8.World Oceans Day is a United Nations initiative to highlight the current state of the world's oceans and the damage caused by current human behaviours.
The visual artist Marc Quinn was inspired by scientists' research about plants in Londonβs Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. With their collaboration, he has created an exhibition of 16 sculptures integrated into the Kew garden.

A 14-year-old boy killed in a sword attack as he walked to school has been named as Daniel Anjorin. Tributes have been paid to the teenager who has been described as a "much-loved" pupil and a keen footballer. The horrific attack which took place in Hainault, north-east London on Tuesday morning left four more people injured.
