A waterspout was spotted off the coastal area of Miami, Florida on Tuesday, June 29. The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the area.
A study conducted by a South Florida college professor revealed that the Surfside condominium building that partially collapsed Thursday had been sinking since the 1990s.

Search and rescue teams were set to work through the night at the site of the building in Surfside, Florida north of Miami Beach. CBS 2 Political Investigator Dana Kozlov reports.
