Russia releases footage of alleged UK destroyer incident
The Russian Defence Ministry has released footage of an alleged incident with a British destroyer in the Black Sea on Wednesday.Russia said one of its warships fired warning shots and a warplane dropped bombs to force the British destroyer out of an area near Crimea that Moscow claims as its territorial waters.Britain’s Ministry of Defence denied the HMS Defender had been fired on or was in Russian waters, but had been in Ukrainian waters.
Russia launched a drone attack on Ukraine that injured seven people in the Black Sea port of Odesa, two of them children, and also targeted Kyiv, the capital, Ukraine's military officials said early on Tuesday. Several residential buildings in the city were damaged and caught fire, the governor of the Odesa region, Oleh Kiper, said on the Telegram messaging app. At least 14 apartments were damaged, the city administration added.

The UK has airdropped food supplies into Gaza for the first time as the Defence Secretary urged Israel to allow more aid into the war-torn territory.
