A quick-thinking man rescued a drowning boy on a beach in eastern China.

The heroic video, shot in the city of Yantai in Shandong Province on July 10, shows a man playing with a little girl on the beach suddenly standing up and running to rescue a drowning boy.

The boy was seen struggling to get out of the sea as he drifted away from the beach gradually.

The man then carried the boy up immediately and handed him over to his parents.

The filmer named Li accidentally recorded the footage when she was filming the scenery at Yueyawan Scenic Spot.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
