Starmer: PM's inaction allowed P&O to pay below minimum wage
Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has accused the prime minister of "leaving the gate wide open" for P&O Ferries to pay their seafarers below minimum wage, breaking his promise two years ago that he would review the legislation.

The Labour leader hailed the win by his party’s candidate David Skaith in the York and North Yorkshire mayoral election, an area he described as “the heart of Tory territory”.
