A 28-year-od man will appear in court on Monday (19.09.22) after being charged with a public order offence following a disturbance at Queen Elizabeth's lying in state.
Officers tackled a man to the floor after he rushed towards Queen Elizabeth's coffin, where she is lying in state at Westminster Hall, and tried to lift the Royal Standard, which was draped over it.
