Inflation vs abortion: two issues at play in US midterms
With the approach of the US midterm elections seen by both the Democrats and Republicans as hugely consequential, one issue is overwhelming all others: soaring prices.
But the Supreme Court's June ruling reversing a constitutional right to abortion in June 2022 has also shaken the country, women in particular.
The vote will be crucial in determining which party has control and the power to advance or frustrate the President Joe Biden's agenda in the years to come.
